MATT BENKO – Partner, CPA. Broad experience as CPA and consultant with Price Waterhouse. Industry experience as a CFO and financial systems implementer for many private companies; small, medium and Fortune-sized. Matt also serves as Achille Benko & Duvall’s Chief Financial Officer. Matt is an experienced senior financial executive with broad experience managing financial departments and as a financial systems implementer. Immediately prior to Achille Benko & Duvall, Matt was a Practice Vice President at Beacon Application Services, a Boston-based software implementation firm focused on the PeopleSoft software suite of products. Matt’s particular forte is financial application systems. He has strong design, implementation, and engagement and project management skills and at Beacon was responsible for more than 25 successful PeopleSoft projects over 14 years. He has participated in all phases of the implementation and upgrade process for systems including financials; supply chain; portfolio management; partnership and fund accounting; activity based costing; human resources; benefits; pension administration; and payroll. He is especially knowledgeable of the systems and integration required to formulate sound cost management solutions and has significant experience with Activity Based Costing.

TOM DUVALL – Partner, CPA. Broad experience as CPA and consultant with Price Waterhouse. Industry experience as a COO. Experienced in mergers & acquisitions, profitability analysis and product costing for many provate and public companies; small, medium and Fortune-sized. Tom also serves as Achille Benko & Duvall’s Managing Partner. Tom is an experienced senior executive who has managed two public and two private companies. He took one – a small, private, regional software and systems consulting operation – through an IPO into a national publicly held entity. He led another - a commercial software subsidiary of a publicly-held Defense contractor - through a challenging transitional period. In the third company, he was responsible for half of the company’s P&L and part of a small executive team that successfully positioned the company for a strategic sale to the largest privately-held entity in its industry. Previously Tom was National Leader for the Chemical Industry consulting practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He was also Site Managing Partner for the Chicago office consulting operation.
